The name Crimson is inspired by a love of Rata and Pohutukawa, New Zealand's stunning red-flowering native trees. Sales of this wine support the Project Crimson charitable conservation trust. Ata Rangi founder Clive Paton is committed to re-establishing Rata in the lower North Island where it once flourished.
