Fruit freshness is driven by dark cherry, blood plum notes that sit upon ripe and finely textured tannins, with a gentle acid backbone—aged for 6 months in a mixture of new and older hogsheads and puncheons, predominantly French, with a small contribution of supple American oak for balance. This wine is made to be consumed immediately, but will benefit from medium-term cellar maturation for 3-5 years.
