Tasmania's celebrated wine regions offer perfect conditions for cool climate winemaking. A combination of vineyard aspects, soil types, natural flora, and cool sea breezes encourage the slow and even ripening of grapes, allowing their natural flavours to meander and develop. Since 1987 Dalrymple vineyard has consistently produced a blend of selected parcels of Pinot Noir from Tasmania's Premium Vineyard. Aromas of spiced rhubarb, sweet red cherries, Asian five spice and vanilla mingle with earthy notes and the distinct fruity spice notes of sassafras forest. The palate is seductive with fleshy red and black cherries. It develops with spices from the whole bunch inclusion and French oak barrels. The natural acidity keeps the palate youthful and juicy and leads towards a finish with silky tannins.
