Vineyards from the Northern section of Heathcote were selected, mainly around Corop. The ancient red Cambrian soils of Northern Heathcote are ideal for dark-fruited, rich, soft Cabernet. The intense dark colour is red with a purple edge. Ripe blackberry and blueberry characters, cedar wood, and licorice. Soft, rich, mouth coating, balanced tannin, hints of classic Cabernet, authentically Heathcote.
