Aged in predominately older French oak puncheons for 14 months. Dense inky black in colour with a deep bright dark purple hue. Rich blackcurrant and dark plum fruits drive the palate carrying a plush feel throughout. Vanillin cedar, earth, tobacco, and spicy dried herb characters ensue. The excellent intensity with velvet-smooth tannins is complimented by fresh energetic acidity. Concludes long, bright, and polished.
