A Seppeltsfield-sourced mataro, one whose depth of fruit, while retaining a sense of energy and freshness, has certainly won me over, and I'm sure I won't be alone. Ripe blue and black fruits, packed with the characteristic mataro spice and an underlying seam of garrigue, along with fine, toothsome tannins and a bright finish that flows beautifully.
