This wine is all about macerated plum, blueberry, and summer fruits, with a ferrous edge to its form, along with layers of baking spice, blueberry pie, licorice, and fruitcake. There is a perfume in the mouth too, a velvety slide of jasmine and violets, before it slides away with fine tannins and concentrated blue and black fruits.
